Trinidad

By this time, RunnerBoy and Jonny should be sunning themselves on the beach whilst sipping gently from a pinacolada.
Only there are not, they are at home doing the washing up and ironing - since they missed the flight. Doh!
Off Thursday now, papers permitting.

Being a Sprinter 2

Eat chocolate!

News

Kate Rudd, who crashed at the Easter Manc. track meet has broken her collarbone and is having it pinned friday. in good spirits though and Gorgeous has been taken on as her chauffer.

RunnerBoyGill and Jonny Norfolk will be winging their way to the West Indies this weekend for he international series there [track racing not pedalloes]. Jon has been the top international rider for the last two years in this series but no doubt RunnerBoy will make his mark. This is a tough trip and we wish them both well in coping with the beaches and the rum!

One of our World Champs in Japan

Shigekazu Maruyama emailed today to send this lovely picture of his family and friends out on a strawberry picking trip. Good news is that Yuki, Shigekazu Maruyama's son is getting better from his treatment on his leg and is beginning to walk again. I am sure you would all like to send him your best wishes.

On the racing front, RunnerBoyGill was flying again today taking the Sprint at the open meet in manc today. Paul Anderson had a win too. Will get full results as soon as i have them.

Elvis Lives and Christine win the dosh

Apparently. In Cheadle and snapped here by our intrepid reporter. Elvis is a chum of Ski who was having his 40th birthday party - and jolly good it was too. Elvis lives on the Moon in a London Bus with Lord Lucan.
Obviously Mrs Tandem and her daughter seem to be enjoying his music!
On the cycling front, Chris Higgs was 2nd in a two up tt with northerner Steve davies and won a pile of dosh. I have my order for an expresso in already
